About the CBL

The Central Basketball League was formed when fifteen basketball clubs from Toronto and surrounding cities came together and met at David and Mary Thomson CI, in Scarborough, October 20th, 2002.

During its first year of operation, 98 teams participated in the league's organization ranging from Novice to Juvenile.
The CBL became a member of Basketball Ontario in January, 2003.
